Roadway Department Manager and Principal Engineer for conceptual, preliminary, and final roadway construction projects. I develop workload projections and balance staff workload across our many active projects.Currently Project Manager for one of the first multi-lane roundabouts in Georgia. This multi-lane roundabout is the second construction project of the three phase South Barrett Reliever in Kennesaw, GA. This project will provide bypass alternatives to the busy Barrett Pkwy at I-75 vicinity.Served as the Roadway Discipline lead designer for the $176 M I-75 South Express design build project, which is a dedicated reversible toll lane system south of Atlanta, GA. We partnered with CW Matthews Contracting to optimize and finalize design and plans for roadway geometrics, drainage, MS4 and phased-NOI erosion control. This project was recently released for construction in October of 2014 and is expected to open ti the public late 2017.Spent 11 months as a Pre-construction Project Manager embedded within the Cobb County Department of Transportation developing and managing several local SPLOST projects. Developed and integrated new design methodology to meet updated GDOT design requirement with specialized modifications to meet CCDOT preferences.Worked for 10 months as an embedded engineer in the New Orleans District Office of the US Army Corps of Engineers in the Levees and Flood Structures department. Developed levee, structural, and roadway plans for the hurricane and flood protection system upgrade in response to Katrina.
