From June 2016 to December 2017 I worked in the Neurological-Telemetry unit delivering bedside nursing care, precepting new nurses, and performing charge nurse duties when one of the primary charge nurses could not work. From December 2017 to July 2019 I worked in the ICU as above. In July 2019 I accepted the management position and focused on creating a collaborative environment leading an effort to enhance quality and safety. Some highlights from my tenure as manager are: • 100% employee rounding each quarter.• Collaboration monthly with patient experience coordinator resulting in a steady incline of satisfaction scores.• Worked with a nurse who was becoming a de-stabilizer in the PCU unit due to mistrust of PPE recommendations and through the use of personal investment, courtesy, respect and scientific data turned the situation around; the nurse even became a relief charge nurse.• Worked closely with the CFO to ensure responsible use of unit resources.

Here I worked under the supervision of a nurse to assist patients with things such as:• Bathing patients and helping them dress or undress• Assist patients with personal hygiene• Transport, drape, & position patients for procedures• Assist patients with ambulating• Take and record vital signs, weights, and I&O• Perform non-sterile dressing changes• Change bed linens• Pass and collect bed pans• Stay positive and provide support and encouragement from the patients perspective• Utilize all safety protocol and precautions for the health, safety and well-being of the patients and staff.I left this position to focus on nursing school as I was entering the intense portion of the program.

I Performed CNA duties for rehabilitation patients. I left HealthSouth to pursue an opportunity for employment in an acute care setting.

• Marketing• Recruiting• Attended training seminars on both the management functions of the business and the technical field work• Taught weekly training sessions with our employees• Overseeing the accounting functions• Managing the work crews• Learning new processes, procedures, and systems and training our employees on them.• Doing ride-alongs with our technicians to make sure these processes are followed through and set expectations• Scheduled my time to keep myself about ½ in the office and ½ in the field so that our employees both office and field felt like I had not only been where they are but I am still there in the trenches with them.Customer care – Set up expectations for the customer experience with our company and trained on it as well as fielding calls from concerned customers and dealing with customers directly on the jobsites when out working in the field.After the business was sold I relocated to Florida.

I had been promoted to this position as the company was growing fast. I was responsible for planning installation projects and getting the installation crews out to the jobs. I also typically was on a job with a crew myself each day.

I worked as an HVAC installer for about 4 months of this time and then was promoted to lead installer with a crew of my own.
