Amazon faced challenges with the large number of individual and siloed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs and initiatives spread across its global operations. To address this, I led the creation and maintenance of a single source of truth database designed to inventory and capture critical data for each initiative. As part of this effort, I conducted an environment scan across Amazon’s global network, identifying over 500 key programs and initiatives and capturing key details such as purpose, corporate ownership, geographic coverage, and identity group focus. This effort provided new and unique management insights, such as identifying overlaps and gaps between initiatives, as well as highlighting Amazonian needs and preferences regarding DEI programs in a global research project. I also standardized metrics across all DEI initiatives by implementing Core and Common metrics, enabling success to be measured with a consistent rubric. This approach empowered DEI leaders with comparison metrics that allowed them to evaluate individual programs against the average of similar initiatives. Additionally, I managed stakeholder communications and adoption support for these standardized metrics, new reports, and dashboards, impacting over 100 stakeholders. I led roadshows across multiple lines of business and hosted weekly office hours to ensure 100% adoption of the new metrics. I used the Smartsheet platform to manage data, as well as to create reports and dashboards.

Created and put on large tech events, managed projects within the department, and assisted with marketing strategies for the UCLA Tech + Innovation Initiative, a campus wide initiative at UCLA to inspire the next generation of innovators and technologies. UCLA Tech and Innovation is a platform on the UCLA campus for students and the greater Los Angeles community to explore the new breakthroughs and new ideas that are transforming the blueprint of tomorrow in medicine, engineering, education, and beyond.

Supported fundraising efforts with international donors by building and growing donor relationships, planning trips, coordinating campus visits, and processing donor pledges.

Maintained organization of feature segments between clients, producers, and post-production.

Coordinated teams, venues, and contract workers for live broadcast events, such as the Emmy’s, Golden Globes, SAG Awards, Grammy’s, and Academy Awards.
