Dr. de Vreede is an Assistant Professor at the School of Information Systems and Management at the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida. She is also the Associate Director of the School. In addition, she is the Director of the Behavioral AI Lab at the Muma College of Business.Dr. de Vreede also owns Chrysalis Consulting – a personal and organizational development firm specializing in executive coaching, intra-organizational training, wellness, and life coaching, evidence-based decision-making, and facilitation of creative workshops. Her research expertise lies in human-AI interaction and Behavioral AI.With graduate degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Management Information Systems, and Business Administration (HRD), she combines interdisciplinary business perspectives to create engaging learning environments. Through her research, practice, and teaching she strives to improve employee thriving through the lens of Behavioral AI, People Analytics, Collaboration, and Creativity. She believes in the scientist-practitioner approach to education. The hands-on nature of her classes allows students to apply the skills learned directly in their workplace.As a professional facilitator, she uses world-class collaboration techniques (thinkLets) to run highly efficient and practical workshops. She has trained hundreds of practitioners in the use of thinkLets to make them effective team leaders without the support of dedicated collaboration professionals. She worked with various national and international organizations such as ING Group, USSTRATCOM, Building Healthy Futures, and the Department of Corrections. Her unique background in Business Administration, HR, MIS, and I/O Psychology makes her expertise an asset to organizations who are looking for evidence-based solutions for issues related to personnel (motivation, training, hiring, leadership, teams), business processes (structuring, knowledge sharing, change mgmt.), and information systems (AI strategy and implementation, req. elicitation, sys. alignment, collaborative sys. dev., quality assurance).
