Founded Softonic in 1997, when I was 22 years old, as part of my final year project for university. I have helped grow the company from a humble software download website to become one the world´s largest Internet companies in global audience with more than 100 million users/month. I have been leading the global business of more than 400 employees in offices located across Europe, Asia and America since 1997. From 2015 to 2019 I stepped out from day to day and oversaw the business as Chairman of the Board.In 2016 I decided to start a new company, Danelfin, with the mission to help investors leverage machine learning and big data to make better investment decisions. I have been awarded the “National Young Entrepreneur Award” by the Confederación Española de Asociaciones de Jóvenes Empresarios (CEAJE), the “Businessman of the Future Award” by the Catalan Association Foment de Treball Nacional, the “Emerging Entrepreneur Award” by the consulting firm Ernst & Young, and the “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” by the magazine Emprendedores.I have graduated from the Universitat La Salle (Universitat Ramon Llull) with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
