I am a doctoral-level researcher with experience conducting close analyses of qualitative data, different archives, and both historical and contemporary discourses. I am committed to producing high-quality, original research that is reflective, ethical, and critical. I am focused on producing detailed analyses that are accessible to readers from both academic and non-academic backgrounds. I am a Trustee of GRACE International, a UK-based charity, which supports children born of war and conflict-affected communities. I am passionate about transforming research outcomes into policy and impact-related work.I am particularly interested in topics related to gender and gender-based violence, justice and histories of colonialism and exploitation.Before engaging in academia, I was a support worker and carer working with people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions, as well as Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.My skills lie in research, detailed analyses and writing. I also have excellent interpersonal skills.
