About Tracey Dispensa
Starting in 2003, Tracey spent nearly a decade working for DreamWorks Animation, lending her talents to high-profile properties such as the Shrek, Madagascar, and How to Train Your Dragon franchises. As DreamWorks evolved into a public company in 2004 and expanded internationally in 2012, Tracey’s role kept pace. Working across every production department, she experienced diverse scenarios and carefully observed studio operations. This exposure helped her to develop the concept that would eventually become Cloud 10 Studios. Broadening her skill set, Tracey moved to the world of live events, managing conferences ranging up to 45,000 attendees for the Intel and Gartner corporations. As Executive Producer, she led show architecture planning, content development, asset creation, and vendor management as well as providing coaching for keynote presenters. Working with executive stakeholders, she led diverse teams, blending internal, external, local, and global resources to provide a fluid, agile approach that elevated the level of creative content for these brands across all mediums. Returning to the film industry in 2014, Tracey directly experienced the struggles of big studios trying to match ever-increasing quality expectations with ever-decreasing budgets. Instead of innovating process, most chased government incentives, changing physical locations of talent pools in attempts to salvage profits. As big studio locations changed, senior and principal-level artists were forced to relocate to a new country or leave their jobs. Tracey saw this as an opportunity to implement her long-developed innovation ideas in workflow, process, and talent resourcing. Tracey began laying out the blueprint for what would become Cloud 10 Studios and in 2018, officially opened for business with hubs in Las Vegas and Dallas.Tracey is a proud member of the Producers Guild of America.
Listed skills include Animation, Film Production, Producing, Visual Effects, and 28 others.
