With a specialization in ERP systems and experience working in diverse industries such as retail, pharmacy, and hotels, I have gained valuable knowledge as an IT Specialist at an Icelandic MSP. My primary responsibilities involve ensuring the everyday functionality of systems like Business Central and Navision while also resolving user issues. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work on exciting projects such as implementing a Business Central for a major pharmacy and POS systems for two major retailers in Iceland. One of my most significant accomplishments was serving as an IT consultant for the Icelandic Red Cross in South Sudan. This experience allowed me to apply my skills and knowledge in a challenging environment and make a positive impact.Aside from my technical skills, I am fluent in four languages, including Icelandic, Spanish, English, and Dutch, and have a strong understanding of several others. This language proficiency has been a significant asset in building lasting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds. My professional philosophy centers around the question, "Can I do this?" If the answer is yes, I take the initiative to tackle the challenge myself without asking for help. If the answer is no, I make it my mission to learn how to do it. By embracing a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn, I am able to overcome any obstacle that comes my way.In my personal life, my philosophy is one of humility and constant growth. Music is my passion, and I approach it with a beginner's mindset - always eager to learn new techniques and styles and to embrace the challenges that come with pushing beyond my comfort zone.Ultimately, my philosophy is one of lifelong learning and continuous improvement, both professionally and personally. I am constantly seeking new knowledge, experiences, and perspectives, which I believe will enable me to continue to grow and succeed in my career and life.As a traveler, I have gained a unique perspective on the challenges that businesses face in different regions of the world. I understand the importance of communication and cultural sensitivity in the workplace, and I am committed to learning from these differences to build stronger relationships with my clients and deliver better results.Overall, my experiences have given me a broader perspective on the world and a deeper appreciation for the diversity of human experience. I believe that this perspective has made me a more effective IT Specialist, and I am committed to continuing to learn and grow through travel and exploration.
