Working in partnership with Temenos to implement Temenos Infinity Banking solution for numerous customers, ranging from small banks to regional credit unions. As a Software Architect and a Tech Lead, I am responsible for overlooking and managing the technical side of product delivery from the discovery phase all the way to a go-live delivery.

Developed an Online Education platform, that allowed schools and district school boards to facilitate online learning. The platform was built using full-stack Microsoft technologies. I was responsible for a full development cycle from a back end and middleware integration to front end development.

I currently modernize, architect, develop, and deliver a completely revamped digital banking experience (DBX) for key banking customers. To this end we are addressing the needs of retail banking, loan origination, new accounts, and more through careful requirements gathering, detailed documentation, and thorough testing.Some notable achievements to date are:» Recovered delayed and failing project to restore customer trust and accelerate release schedules.» Bolstered online transactions and end-user online engagement.

In this role, I converted WebSphere-locked, Struts-based code to vendor-neutral code based on REST and Angular with a clearly separated front-end to back-end architecture. We successfully introduced an Angular front-end and Java Microservices based middleware to the Struts-based application improving end-user experience and performance nearly 25%.

Here, I coordinated the offshore development and product teams to optimize the performance, scalability, and functionality of a legacy products while building the future-state framework. Led the implementation of Retail Suit of Products for Rogers, gathering requirements, leading development and deployment. I also conducted remote and onsite training sessions with new users.

In this role, I drove the technical design and architecture for all new projects for the key strategic customer of the company, including responsibility to define user requirements, user stories, test cases, and full lifecycle management.Some notable achievements were: » Shepherded relationship with United Airlines and detailed user requirements and technical specifications for comprehensive overhaul of flagship Loyalty Program portal. » Modernized and enhanced legacy product using new front-end technologies for presentation and data layers and AWS Cloud Services on back end.

Here, I steered development of a new customer notification, and online repairs and maintenance orders systems from initiation to deployment. I worked remotely with various internal business units to shape the product and prioritize features based on business needs. With completion of this project we effectuated a dramatic improvement in customer notifications and alerts about pending appointments, changes, and cancellations.

In this role, I oversaw the deployment and approvals of iOS, BB10, WP versions of application to iTunes, BlackBerry World, and Windows Phone App Stores. I also guided the offshore development team to accelerate feature releases while sustaining product quality.Some notable achievements included:» Liaised with Bell Canada’s technical team to mend relationship and deliver project on time.» Transformed how Bell Canada and Virgin customers manage subscriptions, services, and payments by implementing MyBell Mobile and MyVirgin Mobile self-serve mobile applications.

I worked remotely with a team of seven on the design and development of a major integration project to improve system of retail applications. We streamlined the integration of a proprietary POS solution with more than three legacy retail systems. Likewise, I led the implementation of new client-side components for new features.

Here, I managed the highest profile projects, supporting millions in revenue, from pre-sales presentations to production releases for customized mobile solutions. I orchestrated the development of major client applications, integration layers with backend interfaces, and data flow components. I was recognized as the go-to professional services architect to ensure on-time, on-spec completion of the most critical projects. Notable achievements include:» Transformed Amtrak’s ticketing system from traditional punch ticketing to digital solution enabling conductors to view passenger lists from iPhone interface with real-time synchronization capability.» Launched new mobile platform for ThyssenKrupp’s field service technicians to manage daily assignments including integration with new scheduling and dispatch systems.» Supported dramatic sales growth for Sherwin Williams with rollout of mobile application to allow sales force to record call summaries, track opportunities, and follow up with prospects.» Led MASCO’s largest mobile platform deployment in North America with complete system overhaul and delivery of digital solutions such as vehicle tracking, work order dispatching, warehouse and inventory control, and BlackBerry-based order management.

In this role, I devised a backend component to simulate communication between two vendor applications used as a testing simulator tool during early phases of development. We delivered a batch files handling solution for communication between the bank legacy backend and Visa Canada enabling daily processing of millions of credit card transactions. Likewise, I headed up efforts to accelerate the release schedule up to two months.

Here, I crafted and delivered an auto deployment tool for UNIX. I also installed, maintained, and supported WebLogic application servers. We automated and simplified release processes to minimize human errors and expedite weekly deployments.

My responsibilities were to guide the technical team through porting project of GM iCARE portal from iPlanet to a WebLogic 7 Application Server. I was also responsible for implementation of automated platform/server independent build and deployment process with ANT. Provided server side support and configuration on different stages of the porting project.

I was responsible for design and implementation of internal financial reporting system using J2EE, and Jakarta Struts. Part of my responsibilities was to created Stored Procedures to be executed by the Server Side Components on SQL Server. I was also an active part of the team responsible for design and development of web-based Internal Reporting portal.

I took part in system analysis and development of I2 Transportation Manager Internet portal. I was also responsible to write technical specifications for the internationalization support and developed Business Layer and Data Processing Object (EJB) to communicate with the backend components.

Designed, and implemented sophisticated Network Management System for Distributed Infinity® Network (D~IN). The system provided Network Administrators with advanced services, that are required for managing highly scalable enterprise network systems. Designed and implemented the network monitoring applications on Win32 and Unix platform using C/C++, HP SNMP++, and HP OpenView SDK.

Participated in the design and implementation of “Emergency Stand Alone” feature in Nortel’s DMS-100 telephony switch system. Took part in the design and implementation of “Ten digits Local Call” feature in Nortel’s DMS-100 Telephony switch system. Designed and implemented client/server system for monitoring calling activities. The aim of the system was to enable concurrent billing as well as to provide custom reports for our clients on user calling patterns.
