•Acting as technical lead responsible for updating and maintaining 3D models and technical drawing of ship compartments and equipment in Solidworks.•Acting as an integration liaison internally between the hardware and systems teams as well as externally as a contact for customers, contractors, and suppliers.•Evaluation of components and assistance to design team with component selection and second sources.

Provided engineering students with aid regarding academic concerns, and registration issues focusing on meeting students’ needs while following regulations set by the university, engineering faculty, and the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Broad. Collaborated with a team of dedicated individuals all working at a common goal of ensuring students’ success and creating innovative solutions.

Worked on the production floor interpreting engineering drawings and preforming geometric, dimension and tolerancing quality tests on manufactured parts for new and ongoing projects. Identified and quarantined nonconforming products, tracing errors back to the source and providing corrective actions for continued improvements. Conducted First Article Inspections for clients while complying with ISO 9001 regulations.

Conducted inspections of fire suppression system as well as the outdoor sprinklers and light fixtures. Participated in weekly health and safety meetings to identify hazards in the workplace in order to reduce risk to employees and hospital patients. Communicated between different departments in order to coordinate inspection process with patient’s care schedules.
