Born and raised in Myanmar within a Burmese-Belgian family, and now pursuing my education at Universiteit Utrecht in the Netherlands, I am an ambitious graduate student with a robust background in life science research, data analysis, and machine learning.My career path has been diverse and non-linear, driven by a desire to explore various passions. Initially drawn to medicine, I transitioned to life-science research, where I developed innovative thinking and expertise in subjects ranging from genetic engineering to translational medicine. My involvement in various biomedical research labs and board committees honed my analytical and technical skills. Recognizing the transformative impact of AI on life science research, I focused on machine learning applications in genome analysis and medical image analysis. This journey also sparked my interest in the ethical implications of AI, which I explored as an editor for the AI-focused student magazine, Beyond Code.After extensive research experience, I sought to apply my knowledge in the real world, leading to a growing interest in entrepreneurship and consultancy. I engaged in consulting projects and courses, emphasizing AI implementation in healthcare, as well as projects in marketing and banking. As co-chair of the Utrecht University Business Course, I help students develop their entrepreneurship and consultancy skills.My experiences in life science, artificial intelligence, and consultancy have equipped me with a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic business acumen. I have refined my analytical, leadership, and communication skills, and I am now eager to leverage data-driven insights to solve complex problems and drive strategic growth. I am particularly passionate about opportunities within consultancy and life science startups.
