About Te Ahu Teki

I am an Organisational Development Consultant for Tuia Connect Consulting leading programmes that enhance workforce capability and provide participants with an opportunity to share their knowledge, develop their leadership skills and reflect on their learning and career journeys. I bring with me over 20 years’ experience in education, where I have directed sporting programmes, led cultural inclusivity initiatives, and coached and mentored people to grow and develop as individuals and teams, using a holistic approach. I love working with our clients and am equally comfortable in the boardroom, classroom, or on the sports field, empowering others on their journey, with a strong focus on building an exceptional team culture by creating a compelling shared vision and purpose. Coming from a large, close-knit whānau/family with ties to multiple iwi, whakawhānaungatanga/relationships have always been at the forefront of all of my connections; I believe in laying the foundations for long-term partnerships with our clients, to constantly grow and develop their people. I give back to the community with Board roles for local iwi, businesses and regional organisations. I am committed to promoting diversity, inclusiveness and cultural awareness in everything that I do. A life-long learner, I am all about personal and professional development, and aiming to make a positive impact on others.
