In January 2013, a small group of individuals were inspired by a simple idea: to share stories of U.S. immigrants from all walks of life and all corners of the world; the effort was non-partisan and grass roots. This idea is called Green Card Voices. The project grew and in September 2013 transitioned into a newly formed non-profit organization.
