- Oversee and train staff accountants on accounts payable process; coordinate financial system training to staff and leaders as needed- Analyze, prepare, and record journal entries related to managed care revenue for sister facility - Maintain the Fixed Assets System per APG for sister facility while supporting department leadership with capital expenditures- Conduct variance analysis on financial statements ensuring expenses and revenues are appropriately recorded; provide explanations for unusual fluctuations- In depth analysis of supply costs as compared to revenue and procedures performed- Assist financial management in preparation and completion of annual Medicare cost report, year end tax work-papers, semi-annual Internal Controls, monthly and quarterly SOX duties, in addition to various reports, surveys, projections and/or special projects

- Receiving and processing 450+ invoices per month across facilities- Managed vendor relationships by providing timely communication and responses - Coordinate Purchase Card reviews to ensure proper expense reporting and approvals per policy; resolve various disbursement issues as needed- Assist with month end closing and preparing journal entries necessary to reconcile GL accounts - Review and ensure accuracy of month end reports provided by off-site personnel in preparation of month end close journal entries - Organize and prepare monthly prepaid schedules in agreement to terms of invoicing across facilities - Analyze and interpret expense activity, review financial statement accounts and enter any adjusting entries and accruals when appropriate - Assist finance department with audits and inventory; coordinate and perform facility cash reconciliations and reviews per Internal Control/ SOX requirements- Establish and maintain relations with, and act as a resource for all ancillary across facilities
