About Phil Whitehead

I have a passion for using educational technology to improve the learning experiences for students & staff ensuring that learning is accessible for all. Throughout my career, I have taken advantage of digital teaching and learning tools to drive student collaboration and participation. In my current role Director of Digital Learning and Academic Services at DN Colleges Group, I oversee the enhancement of digital skills for both staff and students, leading and designing initiatives that foster digital change. Additionally, I manage the operations of our three Learning Resource Centres, ensuring they are hubs of digital skills training, academic support and information literacy training, crucial for empowering our academic community.Owner of a successful YouTube channel called Teachblend, in which I post regular content regarding the use of digital tools in education and how to use them.
