Azuh Chike Emmanuel, known as Teacher Chike, is a Nigerian/Cambridge-certified teacher, an ardent SDG enthusiast, and the founder of the Teacher Chike Educational Foundation. His passion is dedicated to advancing education in rural areas and empowering the young.Recently, Teacher Chike achieved a remarkable feat by emerging as the 1st runner-up in The Maltina Teacher of the Year 2023. This accolade recognizes his exceptional commitment to innovative teaching methods and student empowerment.As an advocate for Sustainable Development Goals, Teacher Chike's work aligns with ensuring Quality Education (SDG 4) and Gender Equality (SDG 5). His commitment extends beyond the classroom to address poverty and hunger and foster global partnerships for sustainable development.In pursuit of his vision, Teacher Chike founded the Teacher Chike Educational Foundation. This initiative aims to achieve SDGs 1, 2, 4, and 5 by transforming education in underserved areas, ensuring inclusivity, and molding young lives through character-transforming content and mentorships. Through this foundation, over 900 girls have been provided with sanitary pads, school fees have been paid for 300 students, sandals have been provided for 75 students, school bags have been given to 18 students, and school uniforms have been provided for 20 students. All these were achieved in his community school, Ezemu Girls' Grammar School, Ubulu-uku, Delta state.Teacher Chike's mission goes beyond raising learners; he aspires to inspire teachers, particularly those in rural areas, to continue giving their best.
