- Provide Materials and Process expertise for experimental supersonic aircraft design- Collaboration with various aerospace material suppliers to qualify and certify composite materials for supersonic flight- Develop and conduct coupon, element, sub-assembly, and full-scale testing on bonded and fastened structure- Optimize manufacturing operations for assembly (i.e. surface preparation, bonding, and cleaning procedures)- Write, develop, and distribute process specifications for fabrication, bonding, assembly, and coatings- Evaluate non-conformances on both composite and metallic production components- Establish and maintain tracking system for M&P testing procedures and mechanical database

- Analyze characteristics of various composite material and epoxy adhesive systems- Plan and execute test plans to establish joint element allowables from mechanical test data- Improve program affordability by conducting product replacement studies - Develop process and material specifications for customers and suppliers- Provide oversight to subcontractors and suppliers to monitor and optimize process control- Collaborate with cross-sector engineering to repair key composite electrical components - Generated program-wide tool to maximize efficiency of standard notes for engineering drawings- Organize program activities for employees to enhance engagement and morale
