I have been in customer service my whole career because I thrive most when there’s that social aspect in a job. It’s important to me to always look for opportunities to self improve my soft skills especially since I’m in a people oriented industry. I have a balanced life between school, work, making music, and being a debater. A lot of my pursuits vary in direction, I find that versatility in life can result in well rounded individuals with many different skills and experiences. Debate is crucial knowledge to know who I am as an employee because being a debater means that I specialize in communication and trying to achieve the most efficient forms of communication as well as practicing and applying it to the real world. I can see that the skills gained from that specific experience have allowed me to succeed in many different areas of life.
