Teague is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for Whittier Trust. In addition to being co-manager of our Small Cap investment strategy, he is a member of our Investment Committee and is responsible for analyzing Consumer Discretionary companies for the core equity strategies. Teague manages portfolios for both taxable and tax exempt entities and is based in our South Pasadena office.Prior to joining Whittier Trust, Teague was a Senior Associate at Citi in New York covering multiple equity sectors including Property and Casualty Insurance, Asset Managers and other financial industries, as well as Automotive Manufacturer and Parts & Equipment Suppliers. Prior to that, Teague worked for Bessemer Trust in the Client Account Management group in Los Angeles supporting the management of client relationships throughout the western United States. Teague began his career as a Pricing Analyst at First Magnus Financial Corporation in Tucson.Teague received his MBA from Columbia Business School with an emphasis in Finance. He earned his Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Finance and Marketing from the University of Arizona. Teague is a CFA® charterholder, a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School and received the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA™) designation. Teague has obtained his Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 securities licenses. Teague has been a contributor on CNBC, he is currently a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Los Angeles and is a past member of the Advisory Committee for Cristo Rey New York High School and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
