• Manage 15 staff including Apprentices and Contractors for daily operations. • Aid in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff.• Complete weekly invoice confirmations to account for all goods received and alignment of purchase amounts.• Liaise with steel suppliers rubber liners, painters NDT technicians & various other contractors andsuppliers to ensure tasks meet deadlines and quality requirements. • People management including mentoring 4 apprentices and helping staff with their daily activities through coaching and regular feedback. • Compile all documentation to ensure Manufacturer’s Data Reports meet clients’ expectations.• Completing stocktakes and ordering parts and consumables to ensure materials are available for the current workload.• Liaising with current and potential suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and delivery timeframes.• Ensuring that all work completed in the workshop is to a high standard and completed safely.• Step in to assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex issues and design faults.

• Supervise work crews of up to 15 personnel including daily task allocation and provision of technical advice and support• Comply with extensive on-site safety requirements and risk assessments• Procurement of materials• Welding MMAW, FCAW in all positions to AS 1554• Follow plans and diagrams• Operate and work out of an EWP• Provide input and solutions in workgroup discussions to overcome unforeseen problems• Undertake quality assurance of work including pressure testing of ring mains • Install diesel and electric fire pumps and associated pipework• Pipefitting of Air and Water lines, Poly butt welding, Victaulic fire water ring main and Pump Station installation• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to fabricate, modify and install dust hoods on BHP Cannington Shiplaoder• Cladding and flashing of Dust Hoods• Carry out Chute wear plate replacement at Cannington underground outages• Carry out structural steel remediation tasks, including installation repair and removal, in surface and underground environments• Supervise work crews of up to 15 with various tickets / trades / licence’s on planned maintenance outages.• Hold pre start meetings and toolbox talks.• Dogging/Rigging of loads• Complete Work Method Statements with Project Manager and other Supervisors• Familiarise and sign off on Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Take 5 and other safety documentation as required • Ensure adherence to Workplace Health & Safety regulations including appropriate utilisation of Personal Protective Equipment as required • Complete various rosters as required including 2:1 / 8:6 / 5:2 / 4:1 and extended swings upon request

• Manage the installation and fabrication of a wide range of equipment relevant to underground mining, including:- Primary Vent Fans- Dewatering Pumps and Pipe work• Underground Escape way• Undertake general Boilermaking and welding, including MMAW, FCAW, in accordance with AS/NZS 1554• Drill and install rock bolts with airleg• Follow plans and diagrams• Operate manitou, integrated tool carriers, forklifts and elevated work platforms• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to install equipment• Manage the transportation and movement of equipment underground• Comply with extensive on-site safety requirements and risk assessments

• Responsible for installation of structural, mechanical and piping works • Fabricate components as required and according to drawings• Work in confined spaces and apply appropriate risk management• Modify existing steelwork• Conduct work in acid storage areas• Fabricate and install tanks including structural steel• Undertake welding, including MMAW, MIG • Comply with all on-site safety expectations and requirements • Take on additional responsibility as a leading hand when required

• Undertake maintenance and fabrication of major infrastructure• Manage the replacement of steel components as required• Ensure a high level of structural integrity in relation to all fabrication• Undertake project works• Work in confined spaces and working at heights• Undertake welding, including MMAW, MIG

• Responsible for the fabrication of generator enclosures and other equipment for the mining sector• Undertake general sheet metal fabrication as required• Operate press, guillotine and profile cutter• Conduct all work within a workshop complying with safety procedures
