We, Team Achilles, have been participating in this event for the past 7 years.We won the Best Debut Team Award in our first year of the competition and have continued to work with rigorous determination and hard work each year.In 2019 we achieved All-India-Rank 6 and 5 awards in the Conventional Hybrid Category, which were as follows:1. Best CAD CAE Design Award2. Best Gradient Simulator Award3. Best Acceleration Award4. Runner up in Cost Award5. Runner up in Best Design Award And, In 2020 We got an All-India-Rank of 4 in the Conventional Hybrid Category and an All-India-Rank of 5 in the Advanced Hybrid Category. The 2020 Event was made virtual due to the ongoing Pandemic.This event was yet again made virtual in 2021. We participated in the 4-Wheeled Fully Electric Category termed as Effi-Que in which the complete manual powertrain was eliminated. It came with more challenges but at the same time had more room for innovation through Automation.In the 2021 virtual event, our team came out with flying colors giving all of us immense pride by securing the All-India-Rank of 1 and the best CAE award. After 2 long years, the Event was finally announced in offline mode in the year 2022. We participated in the same Effi-Que category but this time there was one change we had to make a 4 Wheeled Fully Electric Vehicle. It came with more challenges but at the same time had more room for innovation through Automation.In the 2022 event, our team came had secured the All-India-Rank of 8 and the Best CAE award. We are concentrating more on the innovation side this year, such as making systems like ADAS (advanced driving assistance system), vehicle testing applications, using electronics and sensor data for better manufacturing of the vehicles, etc.
