Tasks included checking in guests arriving to the hotel and also checking guests out on departure. Attention to detail is very important as all necessary points must be noted on guests check in/departure. Customer care is also key in this position as you are the first point of contact guests meet when entering the hotel. Tasks also included dealing with money, credit card payments, answering large volumes of emails and phones calls. Phone calls must also be transferred to the correct departments

Midleton

Tasks included managing the head desk as a front of house operator to ensure the smooth running of the premises on a day to day basis. Tasks also included a show - around to show the full potential of the premises to new and potential members. I also deal with regular phone calls, queries and emails. Filing was done daily and regular stock takes. It also involved working closely with the Manager and Assistant Manager on a daily basis. I was also head of reports that include a monthly and yearly financial report that is prepared for the Manager and CEO of the company. On a monthly basis, I also ran the Direct Debit for the company and wages for the staff. I also completed the roster on a weekly basis. Organisation and dealing well under pressure is key on a day to day basis whilst also focusing on putting clients’ needs and wants first and getting the job done.

Mitchelstown

Tasks included managing a team to work together to ensure smooth daily operations, stock ordering, providing excellent customer service at all times, with a particular focus on customer satisfaction, dealing directly with rep’s from other business’, general office duties ie reports from the Gold system and also getting change for the tills from the safe. Tasks also included dealing with the Gold system ie. reports/sending orders etc. I also did the chill and ambient order on a daily basis. Every third week, I also did the price change over for all products in the shop. Tasks also included stocking the shop when the orders arrived, daily face -off of the shop, serving customers, using the lotto machine and also keeping the shop tidy and clean. I was also in charge of making sure that all returns from magazines/newspapers from EM and Newspread were processed correctly.
