The Mid-Coast Corridor Transit Project will extend Trolley service from Santa Fe Depot in Downtown San Diego to the University City community, serving major activity centers such as Old Town, the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and Westfield UTC. Eight stations are proposed as part of the project. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2015.

Great Rivers Greenway (www.greatriversgreenway.org) works with City of St. Louis, St. Louis County and St. Charles County to make the St. Louis region a better place to live. I managed the design, fabrication, and installation of the Vesica Piscis sculpture in Ruth Porter Mall Park.

I discovered Capoeira in 1998 as an exchange student at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines dance, acrobats and martial-art techniques. The flow of kicks, sweeps, cartwheels, handstands, and flips is set to the rhythm of Brazilian songs and percussion instruments. This creates a game requiring strength.

The ArtWorks fall program for Creative Futures apprentices are a part of the Mississippi River Watershed Public Art Project with NY artist Jackie Brookner in the development of a public art project for the Riverfront Trail along the Mississippi River. The community-based, large-scale public artwork will raise awareness of environmental issues related.
