Business area: Standard BankCIB (Corporate Business Banking), Non-TPS business area Project : “Finacle”I worked on a Finacle project which is a new Core banking system replacing Bank Master core banking system in Africa, so far we have manged to migrate 12 Countries and I was involved migrating 5 Countries and upgrading 4 .The project was structured around SWIFT testers, on-site Finacle testers, In Country Team and off-shore Finacle developers, 1 SWIFT BA.The team used Water fall method, I was working as one of the swift testers, I was helping the Finacle team by verifying the swift messages from their system to AMH system, and pushing swift messages from AMH system to Finacle system. Project : ”Swift Standards”SWIFT operates a worldwide financial messaging network which exchanges messages between banks and other financial institutions. On an annual basis, SWIFT introduces message and field changes to support the financial industry requirements. Once the SWIFT Standards Committee approves the changes, a detailed explanation of the change and the implementation timeline is sent to the SWIFT members to ensure that their business processes and systems are in line with the SWIFT standards upgrade. Should any institution not comply with these standards, their messages are not recognized resulting in non-SWIFT based communication with other financial institutions. I was involved on three Swift Standards projects , “SRG15, SRG16 and SRG17”.• Preparation of the Release Closure reports.Demo new functionality to business stakeholders.
