ARM members tutor full-time during the day and after school in reading, plan and implement community service projects, assess community needs, recruit volunteers, and participate in regular program and school-based training's.

• Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines• Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project• Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy• Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standard expected.

1) promote health education and chronic disease prevention within low-income communities in up to 17 counties served by the OHWC; 2) increase the outreach and service capacity of the OHWC and within the tri-county service area: Hinds, Madison, and Rankin counties, and 3) create a state-wide community health worker database which will be made available to providers throughout Mississippi. The Community Health Corps will function as a multiple site project with the OHWC being the program hub.
