Standard Bank- Home LoansProblem Statement:For the past year, the existing home loan book has been offering concession that are not in line with the Home Loans requirements which has impacted on home loans revenue of R 1,756.588 per annum.Goal Statement:To close the home loan book for on-site solutions one of the schemes being Anglo-American in the next 3 months and have one amalgamated account for the subsidised schemes in order to gain revenue of about R 1,000.000 per annumBenefits AchievedOperational Lift - R 1,000.000 per annumImproved Customer satisfaction3. Standard Bank- Home Loans/Card/VAF/BFCProblem Statement:On average 6,159 (for the period August to December 2009) Account Closure requests are facilitated every month on behalf of customers representing a large financial expense to the Bank. In addition, 20% of these account closure requests are not fulfilled within the agreed SLA of 2 days or not fulfilled at all resulting in with in addition this 611 complaints and 42 Ombudsman complaints were received in 2009.Goal Statement:The goal of this initiative is to reduce the number of Account Closure requests processed out of SLA from 20% to 10% and while integrating and standardising the Account Closure process across all products as far a s possible and reduce number of Complaints and Ombudsman complaints relating to account closure by 75%, by 1 June 2010
