Job Description at Transocean:In charge of 4 Vessels: Two Chemical Tankers, One Old VLCCs for offshore STS operation & One MR Tanker. Additionally, one Lay Off Chemical Tanker was made operational by repairing of the damaged SBT & COT spaces due to collusion, dry docking, testing all Hull structure, machinery & equipment and sea trial.Two scheduled dry dockings of two vessels were also attended in the above time.All technical affairs, certifications, enhanced surveys, vetting preparations, PSC items, ISM, ISPS, Pollution prevention items & plan, Environmental management & other maritime affairs of my direct supervising vessels & back up vessels were arranged on time & kept up to date to maintain the seaworthiness of the vessels at their safe operational level. The fleet manager was reported daily regarding all the technical affairs, budget status, purchasers’ stores & spares order / supply status, vessel inspection / overall condition status, etc.Job was left due to the Company’s restructuring/ relocation to India.at Consort Bunkers: In charge of 6 Vessels - Two FG Product Tankers and Four Old Bunker Tankers. Monitoring & Managing bunker tankers as per the day to day operations, Overseeing machinery/equipment's maintenances, repairing, troubleshooting, Attending Class issues, preparing for drydocking, arranging shore team & logistic support for repairing if require, arranging spares & stores for the safe operation of the tankers, liaising with bunker operation team / loading master / cargo officer, Ensuring PMS to complete by the ships staffs, Four drydocking of four vessels was attended in the above job time.Job was transferred to Transocean due to the Company’s restructuring and reducing Bunker tankers.

It was a contract-based job for Conversion Project and Dry Docking of Two Aframax Tankers inChina shipyard. They were converted into double hull in ChinaShipyard In the presence of the Class Surveyor, Owner's representatives & myself. Followingjobs/documentations were carried out:- All the conversion works by adding about 1500MT steel for each vessel.- All machinery overhauling/repairing/testing.- All cargo pumps' & ballast pumps' vertical shaft alignment work.- ME crankshaft deflection before & after was checked.- All shipside valves & flaps were overhauled & tested.- All cargo lines, COW lines, Ballast water lines, Foam & Fire Lines, Bunker Lines, air lines testing.- All welding joints checking by visual & ultrasonic testing by yard.- Revised DWT, Summer DWT, Draught Marking, Plimsoll Marking after conversion work.- The inclination testing was done successfully after afloating the vessel in yard by the ballast wateroperation with the ships' ballast pump,- The Load Line certificate issuing, DWT certificate, Cargo Line Diagram, Ballast line Diagramamendment as per the whole conversion plan.- All new line diagrams verifying & stamping by the class surveyor. The paint work was carried out &DFT was checked. VSL got Cap-2 rating.- All wing tanks were used as the SBT with necessary pipeline installation and removing Cargo &COW pipelines & valves.- The bottom space under the Centre cargo tank were kept as the void space with necessary fittings.- Two drydocking were completed successfully.- Finally both the vessels were inflated in yard & conducted seal trial successfully.
