Servers run primarily CentOS with cPanel(or Plesk) using Apache, PHP, Exim, MySQL for the main web services.It is a challenging position as I face new scenarios every day that I have to figure out. My primary role was to locate and isolate bugs and problems with the software and write detailed reports to the developers. I started my Army career in 2008 as a Combat Engineer (21B/12B), which I initially went to training for in Ft Leonard Wood, MO. I started in the Idaho National Guard and had to move down to Nevada, so I transferred into the Nevada National Guard (2/116 Cav.)I spent a little bit over a year with Nevada until December of 2009, which I had changed my specialty to a Special Electronics Device Repairer (94F) around June of 2009. They eventually forced my to reclassify my job to a Wheeled Mechanic (91B). In September of 2010 I deployed to Iraq to support OIF/OND until September of 2011.
