Consequently, I made the decision to leave the classroom in 2012 and transitioned into the private education industry.Within this new role, I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages, ranging from second grade and beyond. I provide comprehensive support across various subjects, including running a homeschool class that assists families with their homeschooled children. During these sessions, I assist with homework, cultivate effective study skills, and enhance executive functioning abilities. Furthermore, I offer enrichment programs and remedial support whenever necessary.Additionally, I specialize in preparing students for the CHSPE TEST, facilitating practice sessions and quizzes. I also cater to families who seek to accelerate their high school diploma and provide assistance in ACT college prep testing.As always, my utmost commitment is to provide the optimal learning experience for my students. Math-letics: A class of Math Games where students can practice hands on math while competing with eachother to solve problems, using critical thinking, logic, team work. FOUNDATIONS OF DEMOCRACY: A Program by The Center for Civic Education and funded by Congress. This program instills civic values by teaching students about Authority, Privacy, Responsibility, and Justice. This program has a Mock Congressional Hearing component which requires the students to become experts on The Constitutional Amendments and the Bill of Rights.Creative Story Telling: Emergent Creative Writers draw pictures and words to tell stories that have a beginning, a middle, and an end.
