Ultimately, KGTM 98.1FM was also combined with KLLP 98.5FM to create a third simulcast of music formats in Eastern Idaho. -

After doing so, regional television stations KIFI & KIDK also began to include Jackson as part of the station identifications & began to regularly cover local news in Jackson.Additionally, Q102 pioneered the use of fifteen second commercials on local television to promote the radio station. The use of TV 15 second commercials has now been duplicated by numerous other radio stations.Ultimately responsible in growing Q102's annual advertising revenue from ZERO to over $600k per year, which exceeded the annual revenue of the majority of other stations in the Idaho Falls & Pocatello area.
