As the Senior Council Aide for District 5, I work with Councilmember Archibong to serve the neighborhoods of Downtown, Sweet Auburn, Cabbagetown, Reynoldstown, Edgewood, Kirkwood, East Lake, Lake Claire, North Ormewood and East Atlanta. I coordinate, organize and support Councilmember Archibong's major policy initiatives and projects, including:- Atlanta-in-DeKalb Police Jurisdictional Task Force- Atlanta Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission - 150 Year Journey from Civil War to Civil Rights- Imagine Memorial - A design studio project to revitalize the Memorial Drive CorridorI act as a liaison to District 5 community organizations and Neighborhood Planning Units. I navigate the city bureaucracy to get things done efficiently, solve problems and help constituents with their issues. I read all legislation as it travels through the committee process. I track items of interest with a special focus on anything that impacts District 5. I work closely the legislative analysts for each committee to enact Councilmember Archibong's policy goals. Councilmember Archibong's committee assignments include: City Utilities (chair), Finance/Executive, Transportation and Committee on Council.

As the delegate for NPU W, I represented the citizens of East Atlanta, Ormewood Park, Grant Park, Glenwood Park, Boulevard Heights, Benteen Park, McDonough-Guice and Woodland Hills.I was also elected to serve as the APAB delegate to the Downtown Development Technical Advisory Group.
