Working on a variety of initiatives, my experience has helped drive a number projects forward:- Designing and Leading development of a service to automate the migration of serverful (EC2) stacks to a serverless (Fargate) model. This service integrates a number of existing disparate services to help to surface migration opportunties and speed migration..

The dream of opening the inventories of real world of brick-and-mortar locations to local consumers in a simple, secure, and powerful single interface experience has been realized. As a member of the server-side Digital Publishing group, I helped design and implement a completely automated test framework for testing REST-based web services. My work here included designing and implementing a JSON parser for generating valid data for testing (critical for changing schema, but not having to change the tests), and implementing a fuzzer.

• Utilized diverse knowledge of Flash and Flex development to manage the development of features and the core functionality of the Flash Runtime (Flash Player and AIR). Team Management:
• Lead a team ranging from 5 - 25 people including permanent and contract employees.
• Consistently pushed the QE team to move from a greybox to whitebox testing model.
• Drove as much testing as possible into automated frameworks.

Adobe Ride is an open source, service-agnostic, modular, extensible REST API Test Automation Framework built on top of already industry-standard test frameworks and tools such as Rest-Assured, TestNG, FGE, and Gatling. The goal of the framework is to speed development of tests and validation of services across the REST testing spectrum.

• Main duties included designing and testing features, although many tangential duties/opportunities arose, including the following:
• Helped test and ship the first version of Flex.
• Used internal automated testing framework to create automated sweeps of the API.
• Helped design the automated testing strategy.
• Created the entire visual styles automated test suite for the product, among other features.
• Worked on a wide array of areas on the product, including the Video Component (audio/video), styles, transitions, messaging services (HTTPService, WebService), basic components (button, checkbox, slider), containers.

• Helped test the first AS2 code restructured component set.
• Worked with Beta Sites and other customers to solve issues.
• Worked with external software vendor to create and test the first Flash Video component. This involved creating unit tests to fully test the API for the component, creating media to test various different types of.

• Wrote specifications and worked with engineers/management toward creation of spec’d features.
• Developed testplans for testing these features.
• In some cases, worked directly in the code on both Mac and Win to fix UI bugs.
• Maintained areas of an ASP/SQL database of testplans and specs.
• Handled 3rd party contractor who developed HTML export for the program.
• Dealt with 3rd party developer of cartography plugin (‘Xtra’) for FreeHand.
