  Preflight• Receive files from disk, e-mail, FTP• Check that docket information and artwork match; checks size of art, fonts, image resolution, fit to die line, sheet size, gripper allowance• Advise coordinators/sales representatives of missing or incorrect information in the artwork • Contact clients/agencies to clarify or request additional information when necessaryManipulate Artwork• Assemble, trap, colour correct and impose according to docket informationProof Approval• Generate proofs(Epson prints/PDF files) to be forwarded for client approvalSpecification of File Destination• Upon client approval verify final files for size, orientation, line screen, screen angle, trap• Send files to the proper destinations: jetscreen, inca, die-cutting/finishing or load to disk for outside printingJob Closing• Advance ticket on the scheduling board• Log instructions and notes pertaining to job orderFile Maintenance• Clean up files and folders for archivingEquipment Maintenance• Keep Epson proofers in good working order: nozzle cleaning, ink cartridge replacement, paper loading• Keep tabs on printer RIPs and work flow system
