Industry content expert advisor to consulting teams conducting general business strategy engagements globally focusing on real estate and construction issues. My initial association with the firm began as an external consultant. After a three month contract I then was asked to accept a full time position which lasted 22 months. Then, as the practice group with which I was associated was disbanded, I was asked to resume my association with the firm as an external consultant. I support consultants on knowledge development projects by conducting research and building, codifying and disseminating knowledge. This role will is focused primarily on the U.S. but I do support teams globally. The role of the Industry Expert is:Serve as thought partner and expert “first alert” in general business by providing client-credible insights in problem solving and synthesized end products. Contribute substantively to the development of new knowledge independently and working closely with senior practice consultants and leadership. Assuming a mentor and coaching role to research team colleagues. Independently creating case studies, competitor profiles, and other reusable knowledge products. Typical duties of the Industry Expert are:Work closely with consultants on current client work, including guiding new teams in the sector. Coaching research team colleagues on knowledge. Joining leadership calls and actively help to shape the knowledge agenda and strategy of the Practice. Traveling, as needed, around 10 percent of time.Required
