Betterway Supply is a economical woman-owned distributor that supplies technical services, industrial & safety supplies and equipment for those industries. As a company, we distribute and service a diverse customer and industrial base. Those customers include: manufacturing, welding, transportation, education, aerospace, religious, stone/granite, and M&R industry. Betterway Supply offers technical and safety training on products for those industries. It did renamed DayStar Supply in 2016.

Involved with business development and assisting business and start-ups.Assisting several non-profits, trusts, realty, and other companies as needed.Overseen and done the accounting using QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs, for above businesses.In charge of the filings for business and multiple non-profits for federal and state requirements.Have assisted and overseen the start-up functions of several new businesses, including BDS Reality LLC,, Daystar Supply, Betterway Supply, and Betterway Industrial Gases.

Responsible of all finances, including investments, filing IRS non-profit annual filings.

Managed and sold a great corner location that has a 10,500 sf Commercial building on a busy corner with a light, in Hudson NH located at 185 Lowell Road (RTE 3-A), which has a traffic count of 30,000 vehicles. Building has 5 units of 2100 each (400 sf office, and 1700 sf of warehouse space with 14 ft ceilings). There were 3 tenants, making two units double units (4200 sf each) now. This location would make a great location for a pharmacy or convenience store with gas pumps.

Managing Trustee Involved with all function operating this private non-profit charity.Oversee caretaker and those functions.Act as bookkeeper using QuickBooks, as well as keep all records. Use Microsoft Office programs (mostly Microsoft Word and Excel) to keep other trustees updated on finances and communications.

My responsibilities included investments, filing IRS returns, and helping and supporting the beneficiaries.

Spearheaded the smooth transition of Betterway Ind. Gases to Maine Oxy.Called on possible acquisitions (2 acquired), and wholesale prospects in New England. Assisted salesman transitions into new territories, assisting in sales and micro-bulk sales. Created a POP Hard Good Program for cylinder depots that competed with the big box stores (H.D., Lowe's, and Tractor Supply). H.G. Depots (alone) created 140 new POP SKU's that exceeded $200,000 sales and $50,000 in G.M. dollars in first year. Overall depot hard goods were up 11% in a year, while gas sales were down 18% in the same time frame.

Incorporated the above corporation. It was a start up company of Industrial Gases, welding and safety supplies. Responsible for all sales and financials from inception.Created multiple business plans to secure bank financing, help growing to 11 employees. Negotiated, acquired and intergraded Monadnock Welding Supply in 1998.Guided, grew, and sold B.I.G. on sales of 1.75 million with 3600 customers, and 7800 cyls.After 14 years sold the company with 10 employees to Maine Oxy.

Partner in the scratch-start of the above named company. Primary responsibilities: all operations, including all vendor contacts, sales, purchasing, accounting including the payables/receivables, trucks and deliveries, etc. Grew company sales from $1,200/ mo January 1992, to over $44,000/ mo in October 1993.

Responsible for New England and upstate New York. Product thrust was safety and welding supply markets. Primary responsibilities: motivating people to purchase products directly by establishing relationships and promoting features & benefits of a product line. Contacts included owners, general managers, sales and purchasing managers. Results oriented, and very successful in a "down economy."

Instrumental in promoting and organizing the first welding wholesale warehouse in New England, after supporting a 50% sales increase in the first 18 months of employment. Attained multiple sales awards within the industry. Same as above
