Over the last 20 years my company has put full emphasis on developing new methods of installing sewer and water mainline pipe and services without using open excavation methods. This technology can meet the open cut specifications and pilot tube specifications using HDD equipment. Larger diameter pressure mainline projects in sandy water table conditions can be installed using the same "Close Tolerance HDD" process. Depths as shallow as 3 to 5 feet can be installed without dewatering and without voids, settlement or fluid pressure concerns.Storm drain mainline pipe can be installed using the same HDD process while installing (RCP) reinforced concrete pipe or Hobas pipe. I have also added other patented technology to install the lateral connections without using existing open cut methods on PipeBursting, HDD, Pilot Tube and CIPP projects.I worked with the USA Environmental Protection Agency for 2.5 years to get final approval for my new method to remove and replace asbestos cement pipe. Mid 2019 EPA approved my Close Tolerance Pipe Slurrification/CTPS process. This is the only trenchless method fully approved by EPA. New HDD tooling designs and process specifications makes this process work.
