I have 25+ years of experience as a clinician, informatics researcher, and pioneer in virtual care and telehealth. I was a primary care internist from 1997 through 2012 with the Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG). Since 1994 I have been involved in the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical informatics systems and programs. I have over 12 years of experience in utilization management and appeal reviews. I am a clinical informatics researcher. My focus is on using health information technology and data to evaluate and improve care delivery process through the use of virtual care, telehealth, computer aided decision support, and optimizing care processes. My research has resulted in numerous publications, presentations, and implementations.
