About Edvard Freeman

Experienced dual rated pilot holding both ATP Rotorcraft and ATP Multiengine as well as Commercial Single Engine Land and Sea and CFI/II Rotorcraft. I have been in the aviation industry since 2006. I earned my rotorcraft certificates while working as professional firefighter/EMT-B. I started my aviation career as a helicopter flight instructor in North Carolina then spent time flying in the Gulf of Mexico to build turbine experience to transition to Helicopter Air Ambulance. In the Helicopter Air Ambulance industry I rose through the ranks holding positions such as Check Pilot and Base Manager then taking the position as Chief Pilot of Seven Bar Aviation. During my time as Chief Pilot, I also held the position of Regional Aviation Manager for Med-Trans Corp. In 2018, I decided to add fixed wing ratings to my certificates and found a renewed passion for aviation. In 2023, I had the opportunity to join Guardian Flight as the Aviation Training Director. There I set out to build a self sufficient training department.I have a passion for aviation and look for ways that my experience can better the industry.
