Prior to moving to the District of Columbia in 1989, I was the Vice President and Sales Manager of Ruby Braswell Realty in Rocky Mount, NC, and the President of Gossett and Company, Inc., and Gossett-Abee, Inc., in Raleigh, NC; both development and investment real estate firms. In 1989 I became an Associate Broker with Pardoe and Graham Real Estate in Washington, D.C., and then, in 1999 , joined Washington Fine Properties as an Associate Broker. I am also affiliated with Sotheby's International Realty in Palm Beach, Florida.As one of the leading real estate brokers in the Metropolitan Washington area since 1990, I've been recognized by the Greater Capital Board of Realtors, the Northern Virginia Board of Realtors, and by the Wall Street Journal for being one of the Top 250 Real Estate Agents in the United States.While I work with clients of all price ranges, I have had the pleasure to assist some of the area's most notable residents; including politicians and corporate executives with selling and buying some of Washington's most notable properties.Former music major, having studied at East Carolina University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. Other interests include collecting 18th century American furniture and renovating houses. I've renovated twelve houses in the Metropolitan Washington area and five homes in Palm Beach, Florida. Currently a member of the Board of Trustees for Old Salem in Winston-Salem, NC and the Museum for Southern Decorative Arts in Winston-Salem, NC.
