The year Gandhi is released from prison, Frost wins a Pulitzer, and Garland makes her show business debut.During the fall of that very same year - on Saturday 6th of September - a baby girl named Novella A Cummings was born in Walnut Shade, Missouri. She would be many things in her life - young girl, teenager, student, wife, restaurant owner, mother, and eventually, grandmother. Unbeknownst to me, while watching her magically create indulgent treats in her kitchen, she would become the inspiration for a business venture that we dared dream up in a different decade and a different kitchen.Let me explain.Every story starts with a great idea. Our story began in 2016 in a small French patisserie in the heart of the Ozarks.
