Donaldson Torit is a business unit within the larger corporation that specializes in the manufacturing of Industrial Air Filtration Equipment. As District Sales Manager, I am responsible for the sales of Industrial Filtration Equipment within Western Tennessee, Western Kentucky, Northern Mississippi, Eastern Arkansas, and Southeastern Missouri. I work directly with end-users, dealers, and distributors to ensure that each customer gets the proper filtration equipment for their specific application. Torit's vast product line allows us to tailor a dust or mist collection system to achieve optimum performance.

- Provide direct technical support in the analysis and application of Industrial Air Filtration (IAF) equipment for the world leader in filtration technology; Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE: DCI) has 13,000 employees worldwide and $2.5 billion in annual sales.- Assist the Donaldson Industrial Filtration Sales organization in sales of IAF equipment.- Update customers on new company-developed filtration technologies in order to maintain the industry leadership role of Donaldson Company.- Present information on specific applications to customers from a variety of industries, such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, automotive, and metal working.- Provide competitive pricing for modifications to IAF equipment, while meeting basic profit responsibilities for Donaldson Company.- Interpret engineering specifications and compile the necessary technical information, quotation, and pricing information to assist the IAF sales organization in responding to requests for quotation.- Assist in the review of ductwork system designs using industrial ventilation design knowledge and techniques to ensure proper operation and performance of IAF Equipment.- Prepare for and attend appropriate industrial trade shows, seminars, and meetings to maintain the highest level of understanding of current industrial practices, needs, and requirements. This includes remaining alert to new market opportunities.

- Supported facilities planning for the first-ever nuclear powered aircraft carrier recycling project.- Provided Structural Engineering support for the Navy’s Ship Recycling Program.- Presented and implemented various methods of opacity control (smoke collection) for burning processes.- Engineered/Designed new tools for shop personnel.- Presented ideas to obtain funding for research and development of new recycling technologies.- Ordered material to ensure that final products met design requirements, and that projects were completed economically.- Developed man-hour estimates for repairs and upgrades of nuclear powered ships.- Performed structural analysis for rigging heavy equipment in and out of vessels.- Received the Puget Demonstrated Quality (PDQ) Award for exceeding expectations on an aircraft carrier planning project.
