I'm terrible at writing about myself. I interview great, but my resumes are terrible. This is also why I was bad at online dating when I was single. Instead, I'm going to make a list of traits about myself that I think you would want to know:1) I learn fast and master most things quickly. When I was in the Army, I was the subject matter expert for a piece of satellite communications equipment that the Army used then. Whatever technology I am given, I'm not happy until I have mastered every facet of it.2) I work hard and take pride in my work. I love the ritual of finding the most efficient process to do a given task and the thrill of seeing that process come to fruition. 3) I am detail oriented. My work is a reflection of me, so I pay attention to what I am doing and what is going on around me.4) I am goal oriented. I thrive when there is an objective with a deadline to be met and I struggle when there is not. 5) I am not shy, but I am quiet. I first think of something that needs to be said, and then I find the person and say it. I do not first find a person, and then try to think of something to say.6) I am good at and have lots of experience with giving reports and making presentations, both orally and written. I am not afraid of speaking to large groups of people. 7) I am happiest when I am doing something technical.
