Develop processes for new products and improve processes for existing products, justify new equipment, run lean kaizen events, program computer controlled machines, in charge of all labeling including UID, RFID and military standard labels, involved with heat forming, molding, pressure forming, material cutting, and industrial sewing.

Responsible for all phases of operation and maintenance of all utilities and production equipment. Recognizing deviation from optimal and rectifying it. Responsible for managing building and utility department. Supervised staff of six maintenance personnel and 30 production employees.

* CNC Programmer - Use both manual programming and computer aided manufacturing software to program three CNC machines. This would include selecting all parts to manufacture on the machines, programming the parts, setting up all jigs and fixtures, training the CNC machine operators, and working with the maintenance department to resolve mechanical problems.* Mid-East Regional CAD/CAM Coordinator - Oversee the CNC machining at four Ethan Allen plants to standardize manufacturing processes, fixture design, and tooling for increased efficiency and a reduction in cost. Trained five engineers in Solid Edge drafting software and Edge CAM computer aided manufacturing software to enable a quicker changeover from design to production. * Product Engineering Manager - The most senior engineering position at the Boonville plant. This position is responsible for taking a product from the concept stage, through design of internal parts, to the manufacturing and packaging of all parts and assemblies necessary to meet customer requirements. This would include drawing floor prints, assembly drawings, and customer instruction sheets using CAD software. Route sheets would be drafted for each part to show every operation as well as the tolerances allowed at each. Purchased parts would be specified and sent to purchasing department for ordering. Every new part would be tracked through manufacturing to solve any quality problems. Supervised an assistant product engineer who would help with the CNC programming, as well as new designs. All computer related problems and software upgrades were also a part of the product engineering position.
