Reported directly to all levels of provincial government and provided expert advice on matters respecting physical security and security systems. Duties included leading Operations for Manitoba Protective Services, the operation of Technical Services Section (Physical Security) and the 24/7 operation of the Central Alarm Monitoring and Dispatch Centre. This includes conducting in-depth conclusive security surveys and threat assessments and facilitating the design and installation of state of the art electronic security systems for all government facilities. Responsible for the developing security awareness and safety programs and training for government departments. Assist in the development of the Business Continuity plans for both the branch and other departments. Maintained a highly effective network within the policing and security environment.

Entrusted with various positions throughout my military career including, senior law enforcement, security and investigative roles. Provided security expertise and advice to senior Commanders, Commanding Officers and Departmental Heads of all levels. Accustomed to working in multicultural and divers environments I had the opportunity to complete United Nations and NATO operational tours and was selected to be Seconded to Canadian Global Affairs as the Detachment Commander and Security Manager to the Canadian Embassy Beijing China.
