• Spearhead tank gauging to ensure compliance with Singapore Standard Code of Practice for Bunkering (SS600:2022) and (SS648:2019).• Deliver concise day-to-day operational summaries and promptly address disputes, reporting to the operations department.• Compile and meticulously compare actual and declared figures, adeptly rectifying discrepancies for precision.• Conduct comprehensive initial checks on barge seals, verifying the integrity of the flow meter system for seamless operations.• Ensure the proper setup of sampling equipment to draw bunker drip samples, minimizing the risk of tampering.• Monitor ship’s bunker tanks during bunkering for anomalies, such as cappuccino bunkers or entrapped air.• Conduct a thorough final inspection of the barge's flow meter system, documenting findings for accuracy.• Conduct a thorough final gauging of all vessel tanks post-bunkering, documenting actual bunker quantities.• Establish and reconcile the barge’s delivered quantity and the vessel’s received quantity, diligently addressing discrepancies.• Seal and label bunker samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring transparency with a vessel representative as a witness.• Manage safety checklists, bunker delivery papers, grades of marine fuel oil, and other important documents.• Ensure strict compliance with Maritime Port Authority regulations and enforce safety procedures.• Collaborate with shipping agents, the vessel's chief engineer, and the owner to adhere to time limits and prevent additional costs during bunkering operations.• Provide expert advice to the chief engineer on bunkering issues, serving as the subject matter expert for the vessel owner and oil trader.
