Qa-Qc Technician
CurrentPart of the Quality Control and Assurance team. Responsible for maintaining the quality and accuracy of work drafted into the computerized land base system. This accomplished through careful review and inspection of drafter's work, tracking errors, trends or deficiencies and providing feedback for correction and improvement. Assist in training team members in all aspects of the job on an ongoing basis. Training includes answering technical questions, providing detailed explanations and resolutions and direct instruction on an individual basis. Effective communication skills, regular composing of training documents and recommended improvements to processes essential to QC function. In this time period also periodically performed the function of GIS Technician (drafter) to maintain those skills and to assist in maintaining company production requirements.
