I undertook general trading duties, including serving on the tills, taking stock checks, replenishing goods, applying discount when necessary and delivering outstanding customer service.

As a qualified level 2 tennis coach, I was employed by the local tennis club to assist with the weekly junior coaching sessions as well as the holiday weekly camps. In addition, I frequently umpired junior matches. My work as a tennis coach has taught me how to communicate clearly and effectively as well as understand the values of fairness and team effort.

In my final year at university I was the Deputy Station Manager for my university radio station, Xpression FM. This was the culmination of three previous years of presenting, producing and reporting with Xpression FM. My role entailed liaising with the Station Manager to ensure the radio sound, content and quality is to as high as standard as we can expect. In addition, the roles involve managing a committee, acting as treasurer, being available to all members and encouraging everyone to be ambitious whilst maintaining the enjoyment element.

For two weeks I worked in the Wimbledon shop as a retail assistant, employed by IMG. This work included stocking up merchandise, serving on the tills and selling items. All of this entailed the highest standards of customer service at such a prestigious and high class event.

Worked for Klick Technology as an operational/administrative assistant helping to ensure that the business ran smoothly throughout its busiest period (in the summer). The ability to work in a team effectively as well as use my own initiative was essential in this role as I was responsible for liaising with the sales team and the support network to ensure quotations were delivered in a timely manner, accommodation was reserved for workers and builders’ supplies were available on work sites.

Employed by the local football association to referee junior matches (age 7-13). The experience was invaluable in teaching me how to remain calm under pressure particularly from parents and how to exercise my decisions in a fair but authoritative manner.
