Coupled with mechanical resolve when machines broke down, I was entrusted with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment and livestock, with the responsibility of maintaining these assets. Local ranchers and I collaborated for cattle drives, moving over 300 cattle for sorting and branding in adjacent properties. Now, because I did these tasks so well, no other Ranch Hand was hired, saving them money and gaining invaluable experience for all of us.
