Responsible for adding ADA accessibility to a legacy Credit Card Management System. This included adding markup, DOM manipulation, and JavaScript logic to a system comprised of Struts/Velocity/Tiles, GWT/UIBinder, SpringMVC, JSTL, and various JavaScript Libraries.

Responsible for creating a Clinical Modeling Language IDE as part of a larger application suite for a Veterans Administration decision support system. The IDE provided a means for users to tune business rules using CQL and model/xml based constructs. The IDE provided syntax checking, code completion validation, drag and drop graphical syntax creation as well as text based creation.Part of a team responsible for creating an advanced clinical decision support service that utilizes rules and data infrastructure to enable the creation of statistically accurate predictive models to automate the identification of patient cohorts that share characteristics and demands for services. It also enables the creation of accurate and meaningful estimates using available data of demand for healthcare services based on particular care requirements for a variety of cohort types and assess whether available capacity is sufficient. My responsibility included GWT UI/RPC and RESTful Interfaces. Test and Production were hosted on AWS servers.

The system replaced the legacy command line interface, allowing hospital IT staff to manage various virtualization implementations in a more efficient and user friendly manner. It used JSON messaging to interact with legacy C++ backend services maintained by other developers.
