In Fidelity Labs, I worked on an internal start up solution for ESG investing called ESG Pro. I was responsible for development and support of our product at every level from our infrastructure, up to the client-facing web application as well as mentoring team members and researching ways for our development team to be more efficient. Notable contributions include developing and maintaining our custom ETL system that processes the data my team uses as well as developing and maintaining the calculations engine that drives our product’s model/portfolio tilting and exposure calculation processes. The tech stack that I worked on day-to-day involved React, NodeJS, and Postgres deployed as Docker Containers through AWS using Jenkins and Concourse for CI/CD. Outside of my typical developer duties, I was the representative for my team on our business’s Technology Guild and I supported the Leap training program as an alumnus by participating in panels, training, and mentoring new alumni through their mentorship program.Tech stack includes React, NodeJS, Jenkins, Concourse, various AWS services including ECS, Batch, EC2, IAM, etc.

As a hybrid senior systems analyst and software engineer at Fidelity Investments, I analyze how particular business needs can be fulfilled by our systems and convert those needs into User Stories for my team to implement. I act as the bridge between our business partners and the technical teams and I strive to bring the most business value to our customers by leveraging my knowledge of our systems and working with our developers to create great solutions. I’ve been a big driver of our transition to using the Agile methodology in our development lifecycle and strive to make sure my team has everything they need to be successful.
